Some TL switches are here, thanks to Randy, they are great, and will fit with the panels.
Some light test with the APU ptrototype panel, dont worry about the light leakage, its been taken care of with the new design, this was the prototype and i learnead a lot about those AML's fit.
This is the Led Strip I'll be using for my backlight, its 12V and im going to interface the right switch to control this lights, the strip came with sef-adhesive at the back, and can be cut out every 3 leds, every strip got 300 leds so i guess it will be enough for the entire pedestal, and maybe some more.
The panel is not already place on the pedestal furniture thats why there are some light leaks in the photo, but i wanted to test how the backlight would behave on the panels, I couldnt be more pleased.
The ELT panel has a simple circuit between the Toggle switch, 5mm 3V red led, resistor and a 9V Battery, i found this would be the ideal solution as is a panel we never use, unless we have a visitor that push the toggle, so the circuit closes when the Toggle is in the "ON" position and the Leds comes on. So, the battery is cheap and very long life.
